Denver Art Museum part two

A few of my favorites from a recent visit to the museum. The first picture was from an animated work. The second is “O’Keefe after Whistler” by David P Bradley and brings two different artists together in a fascinating way.

Several others are from the “Animals in Art” exhibit which is dedicated to our never-ending attraction to and the need to connect animals .

I'm a reading specialist from Chicago, now living in the beauty of the Roosevelt National Forest in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. My first book "Aliana Reaches for the Moon" features a creative and curious girl who loves science, her little brother, and her very patient parents. I'm currently writing a MG novel and several picture books with STEM elements and dogs.

  1. I’m excited to be able to report about both of these pieces.
The woman with the antlers is “Melora” a 2013 photograph by Nicholas Kahn and Richard Selesnick. You can find more of their work on their website and some of it is for sale.
The other is by Matthew Weinstein and is called “Three Love Songs From the Bottom of the Ocean.” You can view the animated short on YouTube.
