Super Wolf Blood Moon

Just like an infomercial where they say, “But wait, there’s more!”

Sunday night I was thrilled to watch the lunar eclipse from my balcony. The skies were clear and it was magical seeing it and recording it photographically.

After capturing the last pictures I posted yesterday, I went inside to warm up. Then, I went back out to see the blood moon and got these shots. Unfiltered, the moon looks more purple than red.

  1. :0 Wow!!!! Fabulous photos, alas I missed it we had blanket cloud cover all day all night 😦 , clear skies today though as I walked to work the full moon was SO bright it was as if the sun was out, also I could see Venus just above Jupiter showing themselves. 🙂

    1. Thank you! It was quite a wonderful evening between the eclipse and the blood moon.
I do love the brightness of a full moon and the Super Moon is spectacular! When I first moved to a place without the light pollution of the city, I couldn’t believe how much it lit up inside my house. 🌞
