Inspiration is a two-way Street

When I began this blog two years ago, I included the tag line “inspiration comes from everywhere.” I have shared my inspiration and hope that my posts have occasionally inspired others.

Last September, I heard from a friend that his wife was interested in a photograph of mine. She asked for permission to create a painting based on it.

I was amazed by her talent when I looked at her website Danielle Hatherley and was honored at the prospect. Below is the incredible painting “Summer Glow – Boulder ”

Friday night, I was able to meet her and see the painting at a lovely art gallery near Golden, Colorado. Mirada Fine Art Gallery Inspiration is a two-way Street.

I'm a reading specialist from Chicago, now living in the beauty of the Roosevelt National Forest in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. My first book "Aliana Reaches for the Moon" features a creative and curious girl who loves science, her little brother, and her very patient parents. I'm currently writing a MG novel and several picture books with STEM elements and dogs.
