Charlie finally took *the plunge* and went swimming! He’s usually the one who waits on the edges but this time he jumped in ahead of his friend who waited and watched. A tennis ball 🎾 is quite the prize!

I'm a reading specialist from Chicago, now living in the beauty of the Roosevelt National Forest in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. My first book "Aliana Reaches for the Moon" features a creative and curious girl who loves science, her little brother, and her very patient parents. I'm currently writing a MG novel and several picture books with STEM elements and dogs. View more posts
Too cute! My poor girl hates water with a passion. She won’t even come on the sidewalk around the pool if we are in it. She would NEVER get anywhere near something like that.

Thanks! All last summer Charlie ran along the edge without getting wet barking at his friends to come out of the water and play. This year he got his legs wet but still wouldn’t swim. It was an exciting day for sure. I can relate to your pooch because I don’t like getting wet most of the time.

Thanks, yes he is quite the swimmer. I’m so happy he finally decided to be brave. Now that he realizes he can do it, he’s another Michael Phelps! 😂😂
