I’m a lifelong Cubs Fan who no longer lives in Chicago. An afternoon at Wrigley Field is always a good time and an important stop during my week in town.
This weekend is Players Weekend complete with alternate uniforms and nicknames!
For the full experience, a Chicago hot dog (mustard, chopped onions, neon green relish, tomato, dill pickle, and NEVER ketchup!) is required.
And the icing on the cake: Cubs WIN!

I'm a reading specialist from Chicago, now living in the beauty of the Roosevelt National Forest in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. My first book "Aliana Reaches for the Moon" features a creative and curious girl who loves science, her little brother, and her very patient parents. I'm currently writing a MG novel and several picture books with STEM elements and dogs.

Players weekend is fun! I’m headed to a Brewer’s game today at Miller Park… soooo I have to say sadly we can’t agree on baseball teams… but at least we have other important things in common. 🙂 I did attend school near Chicago, so I have a bit of appreciation for the unique venue that is Wrigley. In other news, that Chi dog looks delish!! Yum!

I’ve been to Miller Park many times; enjoy your game. Where did you go to school? I’m a Northwestern graduate.

Oh that’s awesome! I went to Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, IL… so not quite Chicago, but definitely close enough to get into the city often.

Yes, nice to be able to enjoy the city but not be in the thick of it during college. I grew up on the NorthShore and lived in the city for 7 years.
