Eastern Market Murals

I spent a lovely day being a tourist in Detroit with my daughter and her boyfriend. The market itself was full of interesting things to purchase, but the murals were definitely not to be missed.

This amazing art show is free to the public and just like a museum, it is concentrated in one small area.

If you’re visiting Detroit, Check this out on Adelaide Street, even if the markets aren’t open, the nearby stores are fun and the murals are worth viewing in person.

The fan below hangs inside one of the sheds at the market. Also, the music store provides an opportunity to jam with others every Sunday. And as the sign says, you can always be a player. 😎🎶
