I went to the grocery store last week with a scarf fashioned as a mask but it wasn’t easy. It slipped and needed to be adjusted and retied several times. I touched my face more than ever. 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ I’m sharing this picture at the request of a fellow blogger and follower. I bought this mask from a neighbor who’s been sewing them and sending them to people in need. I posted this picture yesterday and a childhood friend pointed out it needed to be worn higher on my face. Yes, I had adjusted it before the photo so I could drive.
I hope you’re doing well and staying in touch with people you aren’t able to see in real life right now. Or doing well and keeping distance from people you need space from based on what I’m hearing. 😉
😀 Google informs me there was a famous cowgirl named ‘Wild Horse Annie’…… so ‘Wild Horse Annie’ and her ‘Aviators’ it is’

My partner ordered some approved material and when it arrives we are to sew some home-made masks… 🙂

Nice! I gave tons of elastic to my neighbor who I bought my mask from. I cleaned out several drawers and there were many items with elastic to salvage from.

Ask for ties to be made not the elastic bands behind ears. They pain after some time.

Thanks, Shalini. So far it’s more comfortable than I expected.
