Sunrise progression

It’s interesting to watch both the sun as it rises over the peaks and the change in lighting of the clouds as it does. These photos were taken in a three minute period from start to finish.
Please disregard the blue dot that looks like the Twitter logo in the final 2 pictures. It’s a reflection and these are unaltered and unfiltered photos.

King of the Mountain

Taken on the peak just behind our house. The first time I took him there a year ago, he could barely make it over a small felled tree. At this point, he’s leaping over everything and runs laps and circles to get in some exercise on this very short climb.

Inspiration is a two-way Street

When I began this blog two years ago, I included the tag line “inspiration comes from everywhere.” I have shared my inspiration and hope that my posts have occasionally inspired others.

Last September, I heard from a friend that his wife was interested in a photograph of mine. She asked for permission to create a painting based on it.

I was amazed by her talent when I looked at her website Danielle Hatherley and was honored at the prospect. Below is the incredible painting “Summer Glow – Boulder ”

Friday night, I was able to meet her and see the painting at a lovely art gallery near Golden, Colorado. Mirada Fine Art Gallery Inspiration is a two-way Street.
