Full Moon #Frostmoon

Driving in the mountains, I’m often greeted by a view that takes my breath away. These photos were preceded by a gasp. I love the full moon, as anyone who follows this blog already knows. It was the inspiration for my first book.

But the full moon, hanging low in the still blue sky is magical.

My first book "Aliana Reaches for the Moon" features a creative and curious girl who loves science, her little brother, and her very patient parents. I'm currently writing a MG novel and several picture books with STEM elements and dogs.

    1. Thank you 🌝 Victoria! It’s one of my favorite things to photograph but sometimes I’m worried I’m not doing it justice. I really wanted to stop my car in the middle of the road and get out with my camera for these but I had to go to a place where it was a bit safer. πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ I really appreciate your taking the time to comment.

    1. When it first came into view, about ten minutes before I took these because I had to get somewhere I could pull over, it was truly gasp worthy! I love when I see moonrise while it’s not yet dark. πŸ’™πŸŒπŸ’™

        1. Thank you, Michael. 🌝 I think tonight into tomorrow morning is the peak of the Leonids meteor shower, but I’d need different equipment to photograph it, but if you live where it’s visible, definitely worth catching.
