I’m sharing this ElfYourself video of Charlie and me dancing. If you’re not familiar with this app, I highly recommend it as a fun source of holiday entertainment.
Using a special camera setting, these photos captured Charlie running. Love seeing his ears and tongue bounce as he moves.
Wild or styled?
Charlie had his first full grooming this week. As you can see, it’s pretty dramatic. Either way he’s adorable to me! 💙💙
If you follow this blog, you know me. I’m Charlie and my favorite things are playing in the snow, chasing my friends, and my mom. But this is a love story so my mom is only the photographer. And the chauffeur to get to the trail. And the one typing this because dogs don’t have thumbs.
This is Meadow. 😍 She’s one of my favorite girlfriends. I know what you’re thinking. Don’t judge, it’s a dog thing and you wouldn’t understand.
Look at that smile!
Be honest, you’d chase her too.
Sometimes she lets me catch her.
We stop for some refreshing “snow cocktails.”
I think she likes me too. 😊
Some photos of one of our hikes this week including fun action shots of Charlie. He loves chasing his friend Laine who also serves as a personal trainer giving Charlie a healthy dose of exercise.
Charlie met some Australian campers and they “shared” their chili with him. Doesn’t he look happy?
Charlie checking out views of the Continental Divide stops to pose for the paparazzi.
Charlie’s favorite hangout has given him the title Ruler of the Ottoman Empire
Playing in the snow is fun, fun, fun! Resting with cross paws and guarding his stick.
The sweet face 😍 with love in his eyes. Charlie turns 9 months old today and he weighs 53 pounds.
Snow gently falling
wood warms my house, heart, and toes
Charlie seems content.
Climbed up to the top
snow gently falling … peaceful
Charlie led the way.
Friday morning, before the 70 degree weekend melted most of the snow, Charlie and I joined 2 canine and 1 human friend for a snowy hike.
It was a fun challenge with sunny skies and new dog in the mix. Charlie and Laine, the Springer Spaniel, ran and chased their usual dance, tiring each other out. Cleo, who seemed to want no part of their chaos, aligned herself with the humans.
These photos are from a rest stop near the end of our hike. As you can see, Charlie’s puppy energy was still in high gear and Laine isn’t the least bit tired.
