Sunrise Haiku

I rise for sunrise sunrise peeking over peaks eyelids raise for rays

Watercolor sky Mother Nature’s paintbrush glides across her canvas

Reservoir resting dinner time beckons – wings spread gliding to meet friends

Just before darkness not yet full, Moon looms above as Sun brings color

Magical morning sun’s first light filters through trees and the coffee’s hot!
