Sunset comes early solstice marks the shortest day welcoming winter

*This is a follow up to last Saturday* and then it was time relentless wild winds swirled time to leaf alone

providing color still not ready for seasons impending changes

beauty to behold science explains her magic yet our awe remains

even through dark days find beauty to hold, to share it’s out there somewhere

well-earned nap time … but always ready when needed “Do I look tired?”

sunlight twinkling through orange crimson leaves form a kaleidoscope

dazzling super moon inspires awe-struck delight for our evening walk

midweek leaf-peeping sunny yellow hues give way aspens blush orange

pausing to capture the magic autumn provides blue invites yellow
