Mama and two yearlings were enjoying a snack just around the corner from my house. When I slowed to see them, they looked up, but didn’t seem concerned by my presence. They were too busy eating to care about me taking pictures from inside my car.

Visitors in the forest
One of the joys of living in a national forest is finding wildlife right outside our home. Yesterday, this beautiful moose decided to give the truck a car wash and spend the night on the edge of our driveway. I woke up early, but she was gone.
