Most days I look up to admire clouds, find interesting shapes, and enjoy sunrise and sunset. These photos were taken from the window of the plane. Magical skies
Eyes flicker open Will the morning colors be putting on a show? All day I glance skyward at the wisps at the billowing puffs at the myriad of shapes always putting on a show. Setting my imagination free. And then, evening colors. Will they bring another dazzling display?

Hail, rain, flash floods were followed by a beautiful sky. Tomorrow will be better.
Alpenglow
Color paints the sky alpenglow saturating the evening view.
Joy

Can You Smell the Rain? (Poetry)
Filtered rays of light stream through dark clouds Is a storm coming? Beyond it, blue sky dotted with white cotton candy clouds. The juxtaposition makes me wonder. Will heavy drops of rainfall from the sky? Will there be thunder? Lightening? Can you smell the rain?
Evening sky
The snow fell, wet and heavy Giving way to fog as temperatures danced above freezing. Mountain peaks hidden from view bathed in dewy moisture wait for the sun to return. Dots of blue sky, making a reappearance letting the mountains know the fog would lift soon.
Spring Skiing Views (poetry)
Clouds dance cheek to cheek with the continental divide Creating vibrant views best enjoyed from the top of the mountain. Long ski runs surrounded by pines with gentle whooshing sounds glistening in the afternoon sun.
