Sunrise before the storm

Storm clouds gathering snowflakes will soon be falling but first, sun paints sky.

Cloud stretches across the sky above distant peaks painting blue and white These two photos were taken from the same place with and without zoom.

Mother Nature dips her paintbrush; making mornings exquisitely done.

Breath taken away pull over to snap pictures snow capped distant peaks

Marmalade? Maybe, Tangerine? Apricot? Sure. What hue do you see?

Daylight savings time ended today – still I wake to catch the sunrise.

Snow gently falling wood warms my house, heart, and toes Charlie seems content.
