These photos were taken from the Westin rooftop in Sarasota, Florida. There is a 360 view. The rooftop has a great pool on one side and a bar with a variety of seating options on the other 3 sides as you walk around. It was a lovely evening as day faded into night. Fishing at Sunset
Just as the sun sinks into the Gulf of Mexico, the pelicans glide over the water near the shore. Back and forth they fly, as they swoop like an acrobat when they spot fish below. With precise skill, diving when they spot fish below. I’m not sure if they enjoy their dinner as much asContinue reading “Fishing at Sunset”

Below are a cormorant, mallards, and an unidentifiable by me bird that I think is a duck. If you can identify it, please let me know in the comments. And as DoryContinue reading “The ponds at Eckerd College”
Angry Ocean
St. Petersburg Florida has beaches that draw tourists from far and wide. Today the ocean is angry leaving the long expanse of sand abandoned. I’m here for a conference so I’m sure I’ll see a more inviting shoreline before I leave.
