We have snow again. Not the foot or more that was predicted, but the sandals are back in the closet and the warm clothes aren’t yet put away. Tomorrow is May 1st.

Charlie Loves Snow
Charlie loves the snow! He looks for the deepest pile he can find and burrows his face in. He happily frolics through drifts and pristine off trail snow. His most recent addition to his repertoire of enjoying the snow is roll in it on his back.

The Weight of Winter
Bearing the weight of winter waiting for the sun to warm my branches to help me shed this this winter coat. This week, as I prepared a lesson on personification, I imagined how the trees must feel after a big snowfall.
