inching towards spring orange sky arrives early longer days bring hope

sparkling like diamonds deafening gusts lift powder faint hearted stay home

watching a daughter embraced in community promises pledged

magical moment morning views reach perfection what will this day bring?

climbing the canyon clouds and fog remain below yet sunshine above

and the day begins bold hues and warmth of the sun painting my mountain

snow beneath my skis cotton candy clouds drift by perfect mountain day

morning beauty dawns promise of light, warmth, and hope ready for the day

ice covered branches pine needles and cones shimmer awaiting the sun
